How does the American education compare to other states?

Does the US have a good educational system? Compared to some other states, we may, but compared to some states, our educational system is not the best out there.
To start off, we could compare the china, teachers in China get paid more respect than teachers in the U.S. When taxes have to be paid, teachers in china do not have to pay out of their salary. These teachers get a tax free salary. Some teachers get paid more then others do. Depending on what subject or how many years they've been doing a certain jobs depends on how much they get paid. Students in china get a free education from the ages 6 - 15 .. This is because most young adults in china stop their education at 15. In many of their cities, teens are required and it is a normal thing for children at the age of 15 to stop going to school. The people of this country do value their educational system, parents like their children going to school for as long as they can so they can move on to work and have a good life of employment after learning everything they should've learned from school. Parents and guardians in china expect their children to learn anything and everything possible to move on in life.
Next, our educational system is nowhere near as good as finlands. When the Finland teachers first start teaching, their salary is lower than US teachers' salaries. After having 15 years of experience in Finland, they get make 102% of what other college graduates make. Teachers in Finland are very well respected because of their amazing teaching courses and personalities towards the school and students. All eduction is free but, all students in grade school (grades k-12) are required to learn 2 languages, French&spanish or English&spanish. Teachers partly come up with what is taught but school district leaders mostly do. People who live in Finland have great honor and respect for their Finland schools.
Finally, In Australia, teachers get same pay as US teachers. After 8 years of teaching, they can make up to 83,065 on their annual salary, plus their substantial allowances. Teachers do get respect but are very lenient with their students. Teachers need to be learning more disciplinary action and watching the way their students act. Teachers in Australia need to watch their students closer and learn limits for them. All education is free for all students. Primary school is grades kindergarten through 7th grade, secondary school is 8th through 10th grade, and senior secondary school is 11th through 12th grade. Once students leave senior secondary school, they must pay the costs for college. The country's ruler decides on the education and what students learn. Their education is valued but not to the point where everyone would support it 100%.
All in all, we don't look that bad as an educational system. But, we could do a lot better if we learned from just these three other countries. These countries go above and beyond with their educational systems. We should, too. Finland is a #1 school, maybe we could learn from them. Now, could you find some ways to make our educational systems better?
